PAYMENT INFORMATION
In addition to our free app, we offer 2 types of Premium Membership: Monthly and Annual. Monthly membership costs $4.99, and includes a free trial of 7 days. Annual membership costs $44.99, and includes a free 30 day trial. All subscriptions & payments are offered via in-app purchase, and will be made through your iTunes account. Subscriptions are auto-renewing, and you will be charged automatically within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your membership from your App Settings screen within 18Birdies. No cancellation of the current membership is allowed during an active membership period. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a membership.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

App is annoying and won’t stop trying to upsell

I like the basic capabilities of 18Birdies, but I do not want the paid version. When I try to start a round of golf, for which I use 18Birdies just to see the course layouts, I must click through 10 screens, trying to upsell me, before I can get the round started. For the first few holes, the app keeps trying everytime I advance to the next hole. Why can’t this be turned off? If they don’t want to offer a “free” option, then they shouldn’t offer a “free” option. But if you offer such, please don’t make it so annoying. I would be willing to make a one-time payment to use the basic functions without the annoying upsells, but this option isn’t offered. The only choices are costly subscription services. This is unfortunate. The developers are leaving money on the table by not offering a one-time payment for the right to use basic functions.

I was told about the golf app, 18 birdies, by a friend on the golf course. I download it and immediately saw the advantages of using it. So far I love it although I’m not sure I’m getting the full benefit but only because of my shortcomings on technology!I’ve told several people about this outstanding app and they reported good news since then.

Love 18 birdies. Just wanted to let you know that they will permanently close 13 October. The state is eminent domaining water rights for farms and golf courses. Claiming environmental reasons and DEQ enforcement. Would report that your yardage for Hartwood’s greens have the back yardage identified as front and front yardage id’d as back. Other than that the yardage is accurate. Steve Fleischmann 360-901-4550. But since they close in 2 months no need to worry about it.
Great App but shuts down

I love this app and all it provides. The use of satellite images is much better than my old Garmin Approach I used to use. Yardages are good. The only problem I have is it oftentimes turns off by itself in the middle of my round. Then I have to reopen it and manually progress it to the hole I am playing. This happens nearly every time I play. Sometimes I don’t have time and so I will not get the yardage before my shot. Not sure why it does it.

The latest revision will not advance to the next hole after entering a score. Next hole now advances the scorecard so you have to back out of the scoring page and manually advance to the next hole when using Apple watch.
