Wanted to like it :/

This app crashed 14 out of the 15 total times I tried to take a photo and when I did it came out super blurry. Sticking to huji for sure

Hey Lindsay!

A longtime snapchat user

The disposable camera start of the app was really cute. It’s hard to see the picture you’re taking but also I guess that’s the point. I paid the 1.99 because I know 1888 is still new, and I wanna be supportive, but also you can’t reeeeally use the app unless you do. No shade, though. A few suggestions: I wish I could use a slider or something to choose how much light is being leaked. Also, can I take the date off/put the date on a picture after it’s been taken/uploaded?

Needs work....umm

Blurry, grainy, weird colors, nothing like the Instagram.

Not worth it!

I pre-downloaded the app and I’ve been testing it out for the last couple days since it was released and I have got to say, it’s crap. HUJI is a much better app and gives you way more quality without a fake appearance, this app ruins photos and if I could give it 0 stars I would. It is nothing like a ‘disposable camera’ look as they were going for and I would suggest everyone just download HUJI instead of wasting your time with this app.

i love this app i feel like it actually give that’s disposable camera vibe. my only suggestion is make it so we can choose if we want light leaks or not other than that it’s great!

This camera has made me fallen in LOVE with disposable camera photography. It reminds me of the times when family members would make you stand still and get ready to take a picture but then at the last second realize the film is all gone and have to wait until they found a camera that would have film in it still. I’ve been waiting for 1888 to drop since I first saw it on Lindsey’s instagram story. Much love and prosperity for the creators and everyone who has put their whole hearts into this app that has made me fallen in love. ❤️❤️❤️

Iconic

An amazing app with much more depth and color than Huji. Vintage, throwback style is becoming huge in today’s world, and if you want to hop on the train before it takes off, download this app and start transforming your Instagram aesthetic.

Love it!

Lindsay is a queen and I think this app turned out so amazing! I would suggest being able to scroll through your library photos instead of having to individually click on them. Just my personal preference, but other than that I don’t have any complaints.

I love this app, but the light leaks are way too big and overpower the picture. I know the app is new and there’s room for improvement though. I hope to see a fix for this in the future. Good job Lindsay.

Great app but needs a little work

I like this app. However, the only time I’ll get a decent picture is when I find myself in the perfect lighting. If there’s natural light on my face, the photo makes my skin look extremely white and overexposed. If I go into an area where that natural light is shadowed, my skin comes out a dark red. I have found that the photos I take on the back camera come out better than the front camera. I do love how the details are really sharp, it brings out my freckles a lot
