I have very much enjoyed comparing the 1611 King James to the present King James. So far I have found only spelling and a few grammar differences.

I love the richness that is found in reading a source with some history. It is tried and true. I am not a King James only person but I do appreciate it not being dumbed down.
Wonderful App, would like a couple of tweaks.

Added 6-14-2018 The developer is unresponsive. He will not respond to any bug reports or input of any kind. I have sent messages to the developer in reviews, facebook, and email multiple times months ago and never received a response. I noticed the remove-ads option no works and is a dead button. Because of the developer unresponsiveness, I have concluded the developer has decided to go to an ad support only business model and disabled the button purposely. A shame we have to have flashing ads on our bible, especially when we are willing to pay the developer. Even though the ads are not improper in taste, I would like to remove them from my scripture copy and willing to pay for it. ————- It is so wonderful to have a 1611 app that verse wise is authentic to the real 1611 spellings (old Jacobean style english). I say verse wise because, the book names (i.e. Psalms, etc) do not match the spellings in the real 1611s (which also used the same old english spellings i.e. Psalmse), and in the real 1611s, the chapter numbers were done in old style roman numerals (i.e. Jeremiah 34 was XXXIIII (thats four I’s and not XXXIV as in modern roman numerals)). All of these would make it more majestic and authentic, so I would love to see the app updated to a full authentic look. That being said, this is a wonderful app and the verses and verse spellings are wonderfully authentic. Additionally, this app is a cambridge 1611, and not an oxford 1611, which again makes this app well done. I say this because the Cambridge 1611 is by almost everyones’s accounts and my own the superior or cleaner 1611 print. There were two printing presses at the time (oxford and cambridge). 1611s were made in both presses, and there were printing press errors (not intentional) particularly in the oxford. Great app, and Thank You.

I believe that the word of God is the highest form of light! All books, including the Apocryphal, are very important to me, and in my view, everyone whom claims to desire truth, should read the 1611 KJV, and daily mediate on its doctrine...for it’s the doctrine of the MOST HIGH ELOHIM’S (God’s) doctrine for life and peace!

As of yet, the developer has done a great service to those who accept the Deuterocanonical books as scripture. The developer has made many Bibles containing the entire translation (meaning with the Apocrypha) available, such as the Douay-Rheims and Synodal Russian translations with audio. This in itself is excellent, though a computer program dictates what is read and pronounced which is problematic for the 1611 Jacobean text. However, this is not the reason I give 2 stars. I’d like to opt out of ads, but the app will not respond to hitting the “upgrade” button. I’d like to support the developer in this way, but cannot as of now due to the bug.

First bible I own, reading over a year that I have this app. Great app also have the 1611 bible. This is more convenient.

This is not a Bible with Incorrect spelling. This IS THE CORRECT SPELLING from 1611! Thats the whole point to this! Today’s Bibles are all CORRUPTED!! They have removed scripture!! They have removed words!! They have changed it to fit people, like all you people complaining about the spelling! Stop complaining and figure out how to read it! If you TRY AND CONTINUE TO TRY! God will BELIEVE IN YOU AND MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOUR BRAIN TO GRT iT.
