Reviews

Best for teaching colors, letters, and numbers
Gym Mommy

This app has kept my kids attention better than any other app. It’s taught them all their letters, numbers, and colors. I’d say that this has been one of my favorite kid’s apps.

My niece loves it!

My niece was watching one of her favorite movies and I stuck an iPad with 123 Color right in front of her, needless to say that movie got turned off for the night. She really enjoyed the sounds and coloring. I would recommend 123 Color to anyone with kids or anyone who knows kids from 3 - 10. Heck I even was getting jealous of her playing it, I wanted to give it a go! The only downside that we had was she didn't quite grasp the concept of applying certain colors to their corresponding numbers, but she is only 3.

Another fantastic app!

From the creator of KidCalc comes another fantastic app! Clearly designed for little ones, I found myself playing with it as well! The system really helps you "stay in the lines" when coloring which is a huge benefit for making the application fun. It's beautiful to look at and the ability to save or print your masterpieces is the frosting on the cake. Great job!!

I like that it's all here now.

Another Fine offering by Steve Glinberg. What makes this one so nice is that everything is in this one app, I don't have to pay for any special add ons it's finally all here. My 6 year old loves to come home and use this app. I like the teaching aspects that the app offers as a parent.

My daughter's favorite app 1 year running!

123 color has been my daughter's favorite app since we first downloaded it a year ago. Others have come and gone, but I find that she always goes back to this one when she tires of the others. I like it because it reinforces her recognition of numbers and letters, and the HD version looks great on the iPad/ iPhone 4. Also, the developer has been very involved with updates and adding additional content. The fairy & princess coloring book was a big hit!

This is great

The artwork and especially the sounds are amazing. Very, very high production values. "The kids won't notice" is obviously not in the developers' vocabulary. Kudos.

App with potential
AZ Grandparent

Putting the More Apps button on an App for a child is a troublesome and wrong. The App itself is very functional, educational and fun to use.

Terrific

Initially I downloaded this for my toddler help enforce letters and numbers and colors, but her older sister started playing it and won't put it down. She especially likes the interface with Google Earth for the map coloring books. Thanks for putting out such a smooth and entertaining app!

Arts & Letters

Best for young artists ( maybe up to age 8.). Lots of opportunities for practicing letter and number recognition with paint-by-numbers (or letters.). Many coloring pages to choose from and a variety of options for accuracy if your young artist needs help staying inside the lines.

My Preschooler Loves it

My 3 1/2 year-old loves this app. There is a lot of fun and value to all of the options. The creator has obviously put in a lot of time and effort into this app, and the attention to detail shows. I especially like the paint-by-letter and paint-by-number coloring books which encourage early learning of letters and numbers. The songs that play when a page is completed is a nice touch that my son finds rewarding. Well worth it.
