Check in-app purchases before buying

This review is based on content you actually get for the initial purchase, the full game is actually more like 15$ with all the paid features which are not un-lockable otherwise. Without these features and classes the game does not have any replay value in my opinion. You get two classes (plus 2 monster classes that can't equip weapons and armor) and about 3-4 hours of gameplay before things get old (unless you make in-app purchases). The monster class I played was broken and unkillable with his stealth skill. I Guarantee This would be a 5 star game if it had been free with in-apps, or paid with an alternate way to unlock classes without paying another 10$. If players could unlock content by playing, the game would be much more rewarding and exciting. Even if combo and endless mode were included I would not feel cheated. The art/animation/gameplay is top notch, but the price is misleading. Hoping the devs come around, I really want to like this game. The full game could well be the best roguelike around, but will enough players fork over the cash to enjoy it?

Very fond of it.

I really like this game. The monster classes nerf the fact that you have to buy the other classes. Other than the occasional enough to notice them unfair death (4.5 would be more accurate, it's not a whole star problem), this one's worth a try.

Classic Fun

CaptainMiniBeast

I'm a huge fan of pixel art and classic western RPGS so this one really hits the spot for adventure and dungeon crawlers! It's simple, fun, and challenging. The music is fantastic too! All in all 100 Rogues is a charming and entertaining game and I highly recommend it to anyone considering the game is free and the additional content is very well priced.

Great timewaster

A Roomie

I oftentimes have trouble getting into popular timewasters. This one, however, tops them all.

Truly a great RougeLike

This game is as close to Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup as I have been able to find for my phone. A few clunky things like menu design and overlapping words onscreen, but the game play and mechanics are fabulous and the game is very challenging and- from what I can tell so far- there is A LOT to this game that I have yet to discover! Hats off to the developers and artists! Thank you.

Pretty good, but too many IAP's

Good game, with a few bugs. The developer's treatment of in app purchases is pretty miserly. They charge a lot for the game, and then ask for more to buy characters beyond the initial two. This game is frustrating because it has lots of potential but gets greedy. Disappointing.

Fun for casuals and hardcore gamers alike!

While I'm not usually a fan of roguelikes I found myself thoroughly absorbed in this game. I am an avid gamer but still consider myself a noob to this genre, but it was so intuitive and fun to play i found myself easily diving in and enjoying every minute of the game. I do wish I had the option of turning hunger of though. Game gets hard enough without it and while I would play the majority of the time with it on so as to play the game in its "truest form", I'd still like the option to turn it off when I just want to play leisurely while just enjoying the characters and hysterical writing. (Sorry for the long run on sentence, but I'm not really sorry so whatever...)

Fun stuff
