Great idea, a few (rare) crashes, and 1 star for non-responsive customer service.

I got this app for meditating, since I've used other expensive binaural CDs before, and this is so much better than those other products. But I thought that beat settings like Concentration, Headache Relief, Fear Reduction and Nasal Passages were ridiculous. Then I had a bad day-old migraine. I was in bed with shades drawn, when a friend asked if there was anything for headaches on the app I had been talking about so much. I was really angry with her for suggesting it, since I thought that those entrainment selections were just snake oil. But I set the timer to 15 minutes, I didn't want to waste my time on something that wouldn't work, and used the Headache Relief beat. My headache was about 80% better in 15 minutes, and an hour later (without listening to more beats) it was gone! I've never had migraine relief from *anything* after I'd had it for longer than 5 or 6 hours. I was amazed. Since then, I've experienced sinus relief using the Nasal Passages beat, and stomach pains disappear with the Intestines beat. A good friend with severe fear of flying said that the Fear Reduction beat allowed her to have a comfortable flight. I was so wrong about those physical entrainments. This is powerful stuff!

I love the fact that they offer so much, and with continued use it continues to work. Wish that they would give more information about what each stage does and what part of the brain each one effects etc. Also maybe offer tones for dieting and hypnosis/etc This company is the best and I look forwrd to updates.

I love this app, and it has proved itself to be extremely useful, however improvements can still be made. I would like to be able to use the entrainment programs while listening to the music that's on my iPod. Also, I would like to be able to create a customizable timed playlist of brain entrainments so that I don't need to constantly fiddle with my iPod. An update addressing these issues would be hugely appreciated, and, in my opinion, greatly improve both the quality, and the appeal of your product.

The most important thing is the effects do work. They help you to relax or sleep or even lower blood pressure. At least in my opinion. Moreover, the app allows you to put your own sounds together nicely and, if you like, save them as presets. The presets do work and you can save them unlike at least one review claims it doesn't. But on the con side, there are issues. The clock may say it's 1:30 p.m. but you have to set the timer to 11:35 A.M. if you want it to stop in five minutes. The timer will drive you crazy and it needs to be fixed. If that was fixed, I'd give the app five stars. You get a wonderful mixture of beats and lots of effects to choose from. Well worth the investment. But, it would be worth more if the timer worked.

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this, but it does work. I've only used a few programs but they've worked for me. I can never sleep right, and the 12 min sleep program got me to go to sleep and stay asleep.

I use this app every day! Tons of great tones to set your mood throughout the day! A good speaker system with a subwoofer is necessary for best results, but many tones manage to do the trick on the iPhone speaker! I usually don't use this many exclamation points!! Definite recommend for those of us looking to retune the psyche naturally. Cheers!

I like the app, but recently it will not save presets. Clicking on the support link loads an ad for new releases--with no support available.
