March 2019 I got an eye exam I got pushed into an expensive daily set of contacts that didn’t re-focus when I blinked By August 2019 i’m ready to go back to the contacts I love and it’s only been five months since I paid $150 for an eye exam and contact prescription, but they wanna charge me the same amount all over just to change from brand A (“Dailies” by ???) to brand B (“Proclear 1” by CooperVision) that I’ve use with them for five years. Customersupport gets on text with me at one 800 contacts and let me know that I can use my old prescription from 2017 and use the app to hold out my phone test my eyes and then get my old prescription recertified for absolutely FREE! This got done within an hour, waited around for another 15/20 minutes and it was recertified in my order was on the way. More than happy and thanks for saving me $150!

1800 Contacts makes ordering contacts so easy! I accidentally ordered the wrong prescription a few years ago- it was totally my fault- but 1800 Contacts took the open box back for no fee and sent me the correct lenses. Great customer service.

Okay but won’t let me remove from Cart

I’ve had to reinstall the app numerous times because it doesn’t let me remove items from my cart. I really don’t wanna pay for $800 worth of contacts right now, but HEAVEN FORBID I try to remove it from my cart. Cmon guys it’s not hard to program that.

I took it to “renew” my contacts and when I was all ready to checkout they push their own brand and say its better than what I have - better than what I just tested so I could purchase (Acuvue 1-Day Define). So I click to get the free samples of “Aquasoft brand” and it says I need to take the whole test over. Begrudgingly, I do so and I find that the EXACT SAME 4 letters for each eye and both eyes are used. I literally just repeated everything from memory. And I thought I was supposed to wear the contacts for the photos which I attempted with my initial “Renewal”, but obviously could not get photographed wearing the new ones, but they say they’re going to review and send out my free samples anyway. The whole experience makes me think this is a scam! There’s no way that this “test” did anything to improve me; it’s just another company pushing their product OVER the brand supplied at my doctor’s office for free. Wonder what companies like Acuvue think of them having me change my order and retake the “test”? I guess I’ll try out the Aquasoft since they have now “prescribed” that for me and the first 2 weeks are free, but I’m uncertain how it can be called a prescription since the test is sooooo very crappy and the pictures of my eyes are before ever wearing the new contacts?
