Attempted to restore with and without an Caixin account, and failed miserably. Meanwhile the subscription is still active from Apple perspective.

Till apr 11 I was quite appreciated your coverage on coronavirus, and those journalists they deserved to be thanked. Today one of your journalist (former xinhua press) Yuan Suwen (苑蘇文), which violates professional journalism and whitewashes a rapist by reporting forged stories. Thanks to that I’ll no longer subscribe any of your products and uninstall this app at once. Shame on you, Caixin, who tries to harbor an evil rapist (as a lawyer, he kept abusing a 14-year-old girl for almost 5 years). Shame.
Caixin rationalize Bao Yuming's raping behavior

In Caixin's special report《特稿|高管性侵养女案疑云》, it suggested that Bao's relationship with the 13-year-old victim was a romantic relationship between the suger daddy and his underage suger baby. In no way should a responsible media report a rape / sexual assault crime under investigation like that, with only testimony from the accused and trying its very best to rationalize the unacceptable criminal behavior.
Biased article and toxic values

The magazine described the rape victim, a 14-year-old girl as a shameless woman and described the criminal, a 45-year-old man as the sugar daddy in the case. The article author wrote the article without any evidence and regarded the crime as some disagreements between lovers ( a teenager and an old man? How dare you!). Was pedophilia included in your values? It is ridiculous how such a magazine is still alive.
