Remove annoying ads. Other local news apps don't force ads onto you upon opening their apps. Gotta do something different since loosing cbs affiliation. Cmon wish, you used to be the best!!!

Since WISH-TV lost their ABC credentials this app ALWAYS starts out with a advertisement. Ok, I realize ads help defray the cost of doing business, BUT don't make me see one before I can see any news! It is for that reason I am going to delete this app.. Other local stations have ads BUT NOT before I can see anything! Good bye WISH!

Constant advertisements!!! I'm talking before and after every article... If not more often. The app is also glitchy and unreliable at best.

As my father was once your news director during the letterman days and beverly hills fire, this app is horrendous. No clearing of the notification number when clicking on the "latest" news. Also, you now have a dedicated weather and radar app; take those resources off the news app and focus more on the interface. Another mention is the "live"news, you have two DTV channels now that are in almost every household within 60 miles, what is the main reasoning for bogging the app down?? And finally the app does nothing but crash now!!! Please, as there is more drama and news that goes on inside a newsroom, try and take those energies and times to revamp and correct your app. Its all about the numbers and ratings in the news world. App world is no different
Breaking News is Broken

They push the most pointless and annoying "Breaking News" alerts, a recent example being an IU athlete busted with marijuana. Who the freak cares?!? WISH needs to learn what breaking news actually is: disasters or weather, mass shootings, major accidents / highway closures or shutdown, domestic terror attacks, death of a prominent local person, governor passing/vetoing a big law, etc. The app also crashed when I tried to watch an embedded news video. Until WISH and other journalistic entities can learn and respect Breaking News notifications I will never give more than 2 stars to their app.

I can't seem to find a way of getting rid of news notifications once I have viewed them.
