Lost data, no retrieval

tookmyname

On the first day I used the app, it lost all my data. Tech support said syncing problems are “more common with the app” and told me the only thing I could do was enter all the data by hand into their web app. They got an additional star for a quick response. Toggl might be a fine service, but their buggy app with no backup/restore should not be trusted.

Can’t access server via app

Anahodil

Their website works fine on my laptop but the app keeps giving me an error that it cannot connect with the server when I try to log in

Couldn’t communicate with the Toggl servers

Tried many times. Shouldn’t be network problems. Also tried if I could use the webpage version, but no. I was directed to the App Store.

Doesn't work

Piratexxxrules

Can't log in on app at all! Can't keep track of hours away from computer.

Unable to create an account

Tao-ish

Looks like sign-up to create an account via the app wasn't working back in April as well.

Solid app

Robbie !

Solid app that works sync perfectly with desktop and web app. Timers are all synced so you can close your browser and open the app to see the same timer running on your phone without missing a beat. Reports are cool as well. ?

Great on Desktop

JohnMcSmith

I’ve been using the desktop app for months and have no complaints. I’ve just downloaded the iOS app and the first thing I’ve noticed is that the project vs task fields are opposite each other from desktop and mobile. Ie: on desktop “what are you working on?” Will appear above the “project” in your previous time entries. On mobile however, “project” appears above “what you’re working on”. This is a simple continuity issue I have. I can’t comment on functionality of the mobile app since I haven’t really used it yet. 4 stars for the small gap in continuity.

Long-time customer says farewell

I really wish I could advocate for Toggl. I’ve used them for over 3 years, but the latest designs are flawed. I’ve provided detailed feedback on the broken interactions and misaligned designs, but not seen changes. The new UI is veering off the path, becoming misaligned to user needs. It’s time for me to move on, unfortunately. The product has reached a tipping point where the functionality no longer meets this user’s needs (which it used to do so well... better than anyone else).

The best- Almost perfect.

This is the best time tracking app for individuals as well as agile teams. Now if only they could integrate it with the calendar... But still the best so far! Update: after iOS 11 the app takes too long to launch, especially when no internet connection (which is when it’s most needed). A widget would be nice, too.

Mobile time entries don't sync with website/desktop tracker at all

Jackie516

Please fix the bug. My mobile time entries NEVER get uploaded/synced to the website or desktop app. I have a manually recreate the individual entries. It's very annoying.
