Not as streamlined or smooth as it’s steaming counterparts, but a great alternative to anyone who wants to help support artists, indie or not, with a quality UI and compatibility with Plexamp that’s paramount for anyone who wants to link their Tidal with the rest of their music library
WAY better than Spotify but…

The sound quality is so much better than Spotify, which was my main music streaming platform until they decided to cape for a white supremacist (Joe Rogan). I am noticing gaps between songs, which actually really sucks…but I’m willing to deal with it. I’m on a promo and realize when it ends I’ll be paying more than I did with Spotify…but I’d rather pay more than use a platform that sides with anti-Black racism, as well as misinformation that has kept us all in this pandemic longer than it ever had to be.

I wish tidal would stop removing songs from my playlist automatically. Now I have to download them again. SMH
