Actually gives me new music to listen to.

Great first impression

As a long term Spotify user who just converted to Tidal, I’m very impressed right off the bat. A lot of the things that infuriated me about Spotify are much better in Tidal. For example, I hated Spotify’s algorithm, always playing the same songs over and over again on multiple different playlists, and making it impossible to discover new music. I love that right from the first use, Tidal asked me about my favorite artists and then recommended me at least 10 brand new artists I’d never heard of and loved. If the music discovery remains this good, they’re going to have a loyal and addicted customer. I love that the lyrics are on all the songs as well. Plus the fact that Tidal pays its artists more than any other music streaming service, I’m completely sold.

Great service but lacking in UI

I love how Tidal pays artist, I love the fantastic music quality, I love how producers and really everyone who worked on a song are credited! It’s really cool how you can see articles, interviews and music videos from artists! I haven’t done a super deep dive yet, but the playlists I’ve heard so far are really exciting. There are a bunch of artists I’ve never heard of (even as an avid music fan). The major problem tidal has is when it comes to playlists and organization—cause you can’t organize your playlists. The best you can do is make a ton of folders but even then, you have to upload each playlist to each folder in the exact order you want the playlists to appear. You also can’t organize the order of the playlists. The best you get is to organize things alphabetically or date created. Another frustrating thing is that newly created playlists will appear under your folders. So if you want any level of order you basically have to put every playlist you make in a bunch of folders and sort them as best as you can. Overall, the very worst thing about tidal can be patched, but all of the exclusive features and the fact that the platform is in the top 3 when it comes to paying artists, makes this a great choice!

Good. But needs some Adjustments

Hello__All_

The tidal app is good for listening to music the sound quality is great and the playlist curated are amazing, and I also like the artist videos. But the UI/UX needs some work But here are some things that would make it amazing, hopefully devs see this: 1. You shouldn’t have to type in the artist name exactly for it to show up. Please allow for typos and getting the artist correct without having to retype their name 2. Don’t start songs over from the beginning if I close out the app. Pick up where I left off. So if I closed app at a song at 1:51 please pick it back up at that point. 3. Add podcast 4. If I add multiple songs to my queue to play next, it plays the newest song i added first instead of the oldest song. If I add 5 songs to my queue I would like them to play in the order I added them, not backwards. The first song I added should play first, not the last song I added playing first.

best streamer service so far

I love the app

The recommended lists are way better than Spotify’s. Plus, no Joe Rogan!

Money well spent.

All These Bugs!

This app is full of bugs and it really takes away from my user experience. This is an issue every time I open the app (yes, I’m using the latest update). Plz fix!!

Crashing, doesn’t play music

Update: tidal sent me an email saying they will get back to me in 24 hours and I still haven’t heard a single word back from them. Checked spam and still nothing. The problem still happen. Takes forever to load, still crashes, will automatically stop playing music. Bluetooth still won’t connect at times. C’mon guys. Let’s do better. I’ve had this app for about a month now and I don’t know if it’s my phone, IPhone 12 plus, or the app itself but it stop playing after about 4 songs and resets. Once it resets, It goes back to the song that was playing originally but won’t play because it’s still loading. I have to exit out of the app again in order to reset it and have it play the song again. Also, when it comes to Bluetooth connection, after a while, it’ll disconnect and I have to go through the same process all over again. Please fix this issue as it gets really irritating after some time. I literally deal with this every day. I’ve restarted the app I’ve even turned off the phone and still, the problem persists.
