I thought I’d called A legitimate Apple phone number and I was asked to upload this application they where able to see everything and took $ 800 from my account don’t use it

If any technician ask u to download this app so they can share your screen to fix your problem, DON’T DO IT. This app is being used by scammers to take money from you posing as Apple Support. I just got hit for a very large amount of money from my bank account thinking I was talking to Apple Support

I called Apple support and did not carefully check the phone number. The man I spoke with immediately asked me to download this app so he could share my screen. I was confused because one other time I had called Apple and they shared my screen- I didn’t need an app. He asked me to open my Apple wallet and when I told him I wasn’t having trouble with that- and no, he became irritated and wanted access to my paypal- again- not having trouble with that- I realized he was probably not from Apple. Fortunately I did not get scammed but- be careful. I think it’s good that there are limitations on this.

IF YOU CALL APPLE SUPPORT AND THEY ASK YOU TO DOWNLOAD THIS APP, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. THEY WILL RECORD YOUR SCREEN AND ASK YOU TO OPEN YOUR APPLE WALLET TO STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!!! USED FOR SCAMS!!!!
