Scammed by supposed hacker acting as tech support

Beware!!! I was told to download this application during a “supposed” PayPal dispute to refund money. The hacker was screen recording my phone and trying to get me to log into my account applications

I was charged a fee from a company claiming to be apple. They told me to download this app in order to receive a refund back, so I did. Once the app was downloaded they said that my cashapp was declining the refund so to use this app, so that they could remote in my phone to issue the refund. Well to make the long story short they took over $300 from me and I have no way of getting it back. These people should be shame of themselves, taking people money and we’re already in a pandemic. Please be careful and aware of this app. If anybody asks you to send money or download this app please don’t.

I called what I thought was a PayPal number regarding unauthorized charges in my PayPal account. They had me download this and then got access to mirroring my phone while I transferred money to them from my bank account!! So they saw it all. I had to close all my accounts etc and I don’t know if this leaves a marker in your phone to continue monitoring it. At the very least if this is a legitimate app used the creators should come in here apologize and realize they are being used by scammers and research it. Don’t. Download. This. App. it will be a nightmare for you!!! I don’t blame the app or developers but they could at least address this with everyone that fell for these scams. To just say thank you to the ones it works for us not very customer service oriented and shows they could care less. Again not their fault but take some initiative to at least appear like you care!!!

Beware, this is used by scammers. They can get into your phone and see everything. I made a call to an Amazon number I googled and reached these scammers who pretend to be with Amazon. With an Indian accent, he told me to download this app so he could remove a movie I accidentally ordered on my account. When I called him out on how shady it seemed, he got hateful and said he would cancel my subscription. I heard a lot of other men in the background with Indian accents as well. They arguing with other callers.
