Miserable customer support and constant problems

I have been playing this game since the beginning. It was once a very enjoyable game. New rooms, new characters, new quests, exciting adventures became available every month or so. Now, nothing is new. Quests are impossible to complete. Customer service is non-existent, and the company only cares about profits. The only way a player can complete a quest is if he pays money to buy the item or buys room keys to try to find the item. Whenever players request help on an issue, she is told that her network was unstable or he didn’t back up his game appropriately. This seems strange to me considering my game is automatically backed up each evening. I will no longer spend money on this game. I am joining the boycott that begins in a few days. I’ve played it this game for a while and it was fun, but recently, things have changed and in order to complete almost any quest, you have to buy diamonds. And that adds up. Quite frankly, if you choose not to to buy diamonds, it takes way too long to get anywhere, and that just makes the game BORING. I don’t mind getting diamonds once in a while, but when you need them for every little quest- I’m out. The company is so greedy, they have forgotten how to make the game fun. There is a happy medium where they can make money and players have fun. They have suggested that they may reset everyone’s game. Are they kidding me? I hope they plan on on resetting the $2000 I’ve spent on their stupid game over the last couple of years. Like i said, it adds up fast. Dear Game Insight, here is the equation for a fun and popular game. Lower the prices on diamonds or on the special diamond sales. Make the weapons, collection items, etc drop with more frequency. Make some quests super quick (like the ones that that require room keys), and have a few that really take a lot of searching. Surprise your players with a free gift once in a while that is actually useful. Ex: I don’t need anymore bronze charms. ?Nobody wants to keep this company from making money, but when your greed keeps a player from progressing, it’s just not fun enough to keep us around. Also, you would think w all of the money you’ve been charging, you would upgrade your server. Just remember that when you treat your players well, they will stay, invite other players, and spend money. But continue to treat the players like subjects that have to go along with whatever you decide, and you will find yourself losing a large number of players. And players=money.

I have been playing this game since the beginning and have managed to reach level 384. However, I am about to delete the game because I can’t get anywhere. I have been stuck on so many achievements for so long, and I often can’t even complete the first quest of a special event. I have never spent a penny in game, and so many things cost expensive keys, chests, and so on. No wonder I can’t get anywhere. And do yourself a favor and stay away from Guilds, which require hours and hours of play every. single. weekend and deplete resources that took months to accumulate. Games should be fun...this has become so stressful. Can’t believe I didn’t delete it a long time ago!

Game not updated, tech support is horrible! Quests are meant to be impossible so you purchase items. Quest items don’t appear at all. Very frustrating. If not for awesome friends I would have quit a long time ago. Players are angry with GI ?

This used to be one of my favorite games. The lack of technical support for in-game issues is terrible. There have not been any updates recently in the game and users are worried about the future of the game. It is increasingly clear that company doesn’t care about its players. I was a daily player and now I barely open the game. I am looking for another game to play.

GI needs to communicate the status of Mystery Manor iPad to us. There has not been an update to the game since October 13, 2017 when the Zodiac Fortress room was released. We used to see new rooms, events and quest strings every month or two. Instead of new events for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s and Easter, the events are repeated, cut down versions of previous years. Old chests are in the store that are worthless for event. Danny Claus or Drosselmeyer chest, for example. No Anniversary Event is being released. Chests with keys for searching rooms were no longer offered in the shop for rooms released after May 2017 making rooms with keys very expensive to search. Chest to purchase keys for the Zodiac Fortress were sold without telling players they would no longer need keys to search 7 days after the room was opened. Many players felt this was deceptive. Due to the lack of chests available in the shop, players purchased many chests of keys in advance from the special Sale offering. GI needs to trade those keys 1 for 1 for keys for another room. I have spent a lot of actual dollars on this game. There are a lot of collections, but you can no longer get the items to fill those collections. Clean them up, or make items available. Store has chests for events that are no longer valid, eg Danny Claus or Drosselmeyer have nothing useable in them for the last two Christmas events. Mystical Living Room collection chargers are not able to be gifted as all the other chargers are. And when they pop up in search, they are few and far between. How about putting them in the Mystical Boxes along with the collection items? I have HUNDREDS of the collection items, but have to buy the chargers. Make them gift-able or more frequently dropping! Need some continuity in the chests. Why is there bartender chest, but no swan chest or bear chest or partisan chest or florist chest? Make them have the same amount of keys, banish the same amount of minions, for the same amount of money. Server issues have continued for over a year during Guild Events with GI blaming it on the players internet connections instead of fixing the problem on their end. A support person and developer needs to be available at the start of Guild Events to resolve issues. Guild Events are released with bugs and incorrect data making some events impossible to complete and nothing is done until the next week. If this occurs GI should compensate with the players with the contents of the chest they would have won. GI should also be prepared to put up a Facebook post immediately to inform players of the problem

At its best game is ADDICTIVE, however the game rarely operates at its best. Recently the game was experience has degraded significantly: no game improvements, frequent and significant game errors, incorrect instructions for game quests, increasing cost of in game purchase items, unreasonable requirements to achieve advancement. Boycott currently in place involving thousands of players. That tells you something is very wrong.

In recent months there have been no updates to the game. When asked about the status of updates Mystery Manor is unclear about when any updates are coming. They keep cutting back on deals for items required to play the game so it is getting really expensive. During peak times it’s hard to play because the server is so slow and I have the highest speed Internet available. This game was one of the best available and I willingly spent too much money but will not spend another dime until these issues are addressed. ?
