Waste of money

swellons

This game is pretty to look at. And the story is sweet. But, it’s too short. I only played for a couple of days before I reached the end. I feel like it’s not worth the money.

Great game

justanotherMonumentValleyfan

As a Monument Valley fan this sequel truly awed me. From the game design, to the story, to the soundtrack, everything was done beautifully through an through. I seriously love it and I'll be honest here, a Monument Valley 3 would be amazing considering the beauty of the first two. I really think the developers did a great job and this became a game that my brother and I could bond over. In games the best thing for me is the ending. The ending of Monument Valley 2 gave me such a sense of accomplishment and peace and the music really helped set that setting. I hope ustwo games keeps coming out with quality games like these. Keep up the great work!

Too short

This app was really fun, but it’s too short. I spent $5.00 on this, and I finished it in less then s day. I just wish it could be longer.

Bondzilla78

Ok I just want more and more and more! I played monument valley 1 and monument valley 2 and completed both! So... I want more of this. Thank you all for this. I’m gonna want that. ❤️

Not as good as the first

LivS1111

I’m a little disappointed. There is not as much content as the first game, it is not as challenging. Story line wasn’t as good as the first either. Not worth spending $5 .. unless you are buying the original game.

“Everything that glitters isn’t gold”

Disclaimer: (With all due respect, I have never created a game before.) Bought this after playing the original and all I can say is, I am very disappointed. The first game had more depth to it and the developers put a lot of thought and effort into the puzzles. This game is all about glitz, glamour and a quick buck. The developers put 75% of their effort into the animation and only 25% into the actual meat of the game which are the puzzles. I finished every level feeling cheated and short changed. The little “rub your thumb all around to feel like you are actually doing something” crap and the end of each level was insulting to my intelligence... All-in-all, I am just a person that likes a mental challenge and can appreciate a great game; in which this was not... I would really appreciate at least half of my money back... I work very hard for my money guys...

Excellent but over too soon.

I had a hard time trying to figure out what score to give this game. Ultimately I settled on 3 starts for one reason, it’s much too short for the price. What’s here is an excellent, visually striking, heartwarming puzzle game. The art style is astounding and the music is just present enough to tug at your emotions while sill making things feel quiet and lonely. The puzzles are interesting and unique. None are terribly challenging but they’re all enjoyable. Unfortunately as amazing as this game is it also commits my number 1 gaming sin. There is no replay value at all. The game is about an hour long and once you’ve played through you’re just done. There’s no reason to play it again and seek out extra goodies or collectibles because there aren’t any. $5 is just too much for a 1 hour experience with no replay value. If it were $1 or $2 then I’d say go for it but even though $5 isn’t much it’s a little steep for a game that shows you everything it has to offer in 1 hour.
