If you put a URL, it deletes the original URL with a smartlink and a photo underneath. No way on mobile to NOT have it do that. It’s extra frustrating because mobile has a small screen to begin with. I don’t want your fancy graphics, I want to see the URL I pasted. Makes it’s own indentation. I want bullet points where I put them, not a quarter of the way across the page. No way around this. Will browbeat you by correcting what it thinks is a spelling error 900x in a row without being intelligent enough to realize you actually want to write the word it thinks is incorrect. Most word processors will let you use the word you originally typed if you backspace in the autocorrected word. Not OneNote. Can you just make a plain text mode? Thanks.
Search function doesnt work

When searching for specific terms, it only takes me to the notebook itself rather than highlighting and jumping to whatever I’m searching for.

I’ve been using onenote on my iPad since I first got it in December 2020. It’s a pretty nice app. I like how it quickly syncs across my devices, which is why I prefer using it to other apps. It’s also nice how the pen colors change in dark mode so I can read what I have written clearly. However, some of the app features could be better. - Highlighting in dark mode doesn’t work well. It’s hard to see what is highlighted. - When I create a shape and I tap a pen, it changes the tool to the color of the pen. This is helpful sometimes but other times it’s annoying. They should add an option for this feature that lets uo7 turns it on or off. - The lasso tool works mostly well but I need to select an annotation to paste when I'm in pen mode. This means when I go to a new page, I have to make an annotation JUST to paste! - I use an external keyboard and mouse for typing on onenote. It’s frustrating how keyboard shortcuts (like copy paste) don’t work like they do on PC. These issues are frustrating but they didn’t stop me from using them, they’re just minor inconveniences. If you’re looking for a note taking app that lets you sync across devices, I still think onenote is the best choice.

Literally tried everything, even opened up a new account but the app doesn’t work and keeps prompting to sign in. Just wanted to take notes but the app can’t even open up a simple notebook or even sign in

I spent about 30 minutes trying to log in to get started but it kept telling me to log in again. I just deleted it after that.
OneNote, organizes my life

OneNote has helped me in so many ways organize my life. I work in IT and at work, I created a notebook for each project that I am working on. When that project is complete, I archive it for future reference. In my personal life I save electronic notebooks in the cloud where I can reference them throughout the day on my phone. These can be daily devotionals or todo lists that help me organize my day,
