Still issues

Quite some time has passed and it has not gotten much better. Remote app still has issues: 1. Remote speakers often don’t show in remote, while they can be selected directly in music app on Mac. 2. Search is not working when adding new song in Up Next. We have a central MacMini with all the music and speakers in pretty much every room. It used to work so well for many years. What a shame.

This sleeper of an app has been around since long before any of the streaming services hit the scene. It does what it’s meant to do, and really well, which is to control iTunes/Music.app running on a Mac, PC, or media server from an iOS device. Highly recommended.

I had issues before but the App worked fairly well. Now it does not work at all.

I like this app, I really do. I like everything about the Remote app, but the side volume buttons on your phone should control the volume on your computer. That’s how it was when I had iPhone3. I miss that functionality. Don’t get me wrong. This app works perfectly. It doesn’t crash. It does what it supposed to. It just doesn’t do what a former version did, and I miss it.
unnecessary and doesn’t work

home sharing on PC barely works, and when it does requires you to log in over and over. update the itunes app/apple music to enable desktop playback from the app like spotify pleeeeaseee, there’s no need for another app to do this

I keep losing partial controls, to where I can hit menu and ok but moving the cursor around won’t work
