I used this app years ago and even forgot I had it installed. And then came on a use case I’ve wanted for years - and this does it! Beautifully!!! Among other things, I use Remote to control the music playing on my main Mac through AirPlay to my main entertainment system. Now I can listen to the same stream in the office, family room, and outside and am free to roam about the yard without worrying about WiFi dropping out. And I still have complete control over what is playing (and volume and more) from my iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch! Can’t wait to pair some friends phones so my Mac can serve as a jukebox at the next party! I’ve always wanted to do that! The only thing I wish it did that it doesn’t do is allow me to Add to my library! (I think I get why and it’s not too much to go over to Music and do it and then come back.) Well done Apple!!!

Love it, still enjoy carefully washing and playing records, but listen to alot more music using this app and not leaving the couch.

It's impossible to get this app to work. All I want is to control my music remotely from my iPad. Apparently this is too much to ask.

iTunes Remote no longer works on my Apple Watch OS8, bummer!

This app really needs to add more support for controlling Apple Music and not just playlists download to your hard drive.

I’ve used this app in a limited capacity and it’s good and all, but what would make this app GREAT is if it let me control other iOS devices and their music apps. THAT would be phenomenal.

Apple products constantly don’t work, don’t connect, don’t talk to each other, constantly sign you out of one device or another, and then don’t allow you to sign back in with codes sent to other devices. You are supposed to have 10 devices available for your iTunes account, i have only 7 or 8 and it constantly signs me out of multiple devices. To just play music in my house turns into an hour and a half IT session EVERY TIME - absolute garbage. No wonder companies like Sonos can exist and whip apple.
