This app used to be the best translation app available. Then iOS 14 came along and the app has been completely stripped of its functionality. All of those amazing features are gone. No kore handwriting, photo translation, etc. The app is now virtually useless. They just took a 5-star app and turned it into a 0-star one.
The auto focus is bad

The autofocus in the translator app is so bad that I can’t even read at all and I can’t do anything about it

removed all the most useful features. half the time microphone translations don’t even go through and you even removed the swap button to quickly swap languages?? terrible update id go back if i could

This app used to offer a plethora of languages to include Hawaiian with was surprisingly accurate. It’s gone with the most recent update. This is disappointing. Please bring it back

The app has an average comparison to a dictionary, providing the kind of translation you might expect to extrapolate from dictionary lookups. It is very weak on idiomatic expressions. Plus I set the source language and the app began to propose other source languages as though I had set to auto detect, proposing various phrases to translate from a variety of languages not of interest to me.

When I was trying to translate words (in Italian, Spanish, French, etc.) from masculine to feminine, my phone had crashed and it made me mad.? Is there any way to fix this or do I need to wait for an update on the App Store?
Not bad, but need more time to write kanji on screen to translate.

I do like Google Translate, but when I try to write Japanese "kanji" script, the app does not give you enough time to finish the more difficult characters with more than 6-strokes. If possible, with the languages that use more than 4-strokes/character, you need to add a "done" button so we have time to draw the characters correctly for translation. Please make the adjustment soon. Otherwise, I'd give the app at least 3 stars.
