Featuring:

TEN PIN BOWLING

One of the most popular bowling games in the world today. Score strikes, spares, and turkeys.

PICK UP SPARES

Practice challenging spares. Clear stages to unlock new balls.

ONE HUNDRED PINS

Knock down as many pins as you can in 5 throws at a rack of 100 pins!

CANDLEPIN BOWLING

Invented in 1880. Candlepin bowling offers a great challenge. Candlepins are thin skittles that bounce and spin unpredictably when struck. Pins aren't cleared between rounds allowing you to knock them into still upright pins.

FIVE PIN BOWLING

Invented in 1904 in Canada. In 5 pin, each pin is worth different point values. Spares are strategic attempts to hit the most valuable pins. A perfect game is 450 points!

NINE PIN (GERMAN BOWLING)

Invented in medieval Germany, 9 pin is what most later bowling games are based on. Nine pins are arranged in a diamond shape with a "kingpin" in the middle. Knocking all the pins over earns 9 points. Knocking all the pins over but the kingpin earns 12!

DUCK PIN

Invented in 1904 in New England. Duck pin uses the nearly the same rules as 10 pin, but allows 3 rounds to knock over all the pins. The ball and pins are smaller making precision very important to score well!

IRON PIN

Iron pin is the same as normal bowling but one random pin is much heavier than the others. Careful consideration has to be made on how to knock over the heavy pin while also clearing the normal ones.

SHUFFLE BOWLING

Bowling on a shuffleboard table! Knock over the pins with a weighted puck.

WEST COUNTY SKITTLES

Traditional skittles game that has been played in British pubs for centuries.

LONG ALLEY SKITTLES

Knock over pins by throwing a barrel-shaped 'cheese'! To score points, you first have to knock over the kingpin. It's tricky to master when the ball bounces unpredictably!

Reviews

Lacks realism
Bluffmaster.

It's an Ok game. Graphics are good but the gameplay is not realistic. When you launch the ball, it feels like its gliding on ice floor. And just a simple swipe on the screen will change the direction of the ball completely AFTER you have launched the ball. That's the spin feature I understand but it's totally unrealistic how much it can change direction. It makes it extremely easy to score strikes every time, and not challenging at all.

Well,
Seatac33

I noticed the "after toss" adjustment too, which does in fact make it difficult to not score well. BUT!!!! Who says you HAVE to manipulate the aim after you toss? Just aim for the pocket and ignore the ability to manipulate! I like this game a lot because the graphics are really very nice, and I love the goal of working towards acquiring all the gorgeous planet balls! They truly are very exquisite, and a worthy goal to aim for. I have tried almost all of the bowling games for the iPad and the iPod, and so far, this has been the best of the bunch. Most all of the rest are lousy....and I do mean REALLY LOUSY! Great job, Jason!!! You have my vote! ((~.~))

LAME.

This looks beautiful until you start to play. Then it is totally unrealistic in the roll AND in the play. The ball appears to be sliding down the lane. A flick doesn't shift the roll, it just changes the direction of the ball. Finally, why isn't there a button to get back to the main menu on screen during play. I wanted out of A game, but not out of THE game.

Fantastic
Grist

The two new modes introduced with the latest update are a lot of fun, particularly the candlepins mode which has amazingly realistic pin action including dead wood that stays on the lane after your first and second balls. The developer has been improving this game steadily ever since it first came out; it wasn't very impressive then, but it is very good now.

Latest Updates

I like the two new modes -- duckpins and candlepins -- and realize the balls are smaller. However, why are the balls smaller in the regular mode, kingpin, and the splits? Is there a reason for it? I can't imagine what it would be. Please make those balls the size they were before.
