I love this app!

Kudos to the Feedly Dev team! This is such a nice app. I went looking for an RSS app to get away from the flying data-eating Gifs, screaming and scrolling data chugging videos, and annoying pop ups we now—thanks to the major browser companies removing the features that allows you to turn them off—are stuck with. Individual apps are often even worse. So yep; I chose Feedly because I detest auto-run in all its forms, and especially annoying advertising. Feedly, which has been slaughtered on here because of the ads in the feed. Feedly, I like them. They don’t scream, pop up or follow me around the page. I like that they look like the articles; and as long as you keep them to innocuous topics like toasters or coffee makers—and stay away from the malware laden enabling of outright organized crime certain social outlets engage in—you and me, we’re good. Two small things though. By taking us directly to the buy button / sign up sheet when we click on the ads, you are shooting yourself and the sponsors in the foot. Last I checked, affiliate advertising was about getting people to buy. Pretty sure your sponsors see it that way anyway. So please take us to the article described in the link, let us learn about them, read about what they are offering, and we might actually hit the buy button. The second item; your bot. Having it is a grand idea. Asking people to vote yes / no style BEFORE reading the article is STUPID. It literally guarantees that your bot will deliver absolute garbage, and sending your paying customers—who are allowed to use it—screaming out the door. Do this: Place the bot dialog AFTER we read the article. Yes you might get fewer responses, but they will be ACCURATE. Also, give us an option to long press “other” and let us help the bot by choosing the right category. Otherwise, great job Feedly!! I can read news again, in peace and quiet. Especially love your interface with the external websites, how the reader auto activates, and the ability to customize using Safari’s controls.

$8 a month: are you kidding me. ?

DrMDWebb

I’ve used Feedly for years and loved it. Suddenly, they force ads on me and want to charge me $8 a month to remove them? No way. Deleting app, and will never return. Epic fail, Feedly.

Ads everywhere

MusicaholicWIU

Every single feed now has ads inserted in them.

Ads in every feed.

Terrible.

Please give an option to remove ads

ConManDude

I have used and loved Feedly for a long time, but with the addition of sponsored content I am probably going to switch to another reader. I have seen the same “News Story” about an O2 mask literally dozens of times now. I have no problem paying $10 to remove ads or even a $2 monthly subscription, but these ads are really getting annoying.

You broke the expanding list UI

shplendid

The grouped lists of feeds no longer work. Tapping the right facing arrow opens the whole feed, not the list of individual feeds in the group. How was this not caught in testing?

Dishonest new approach to Ads

cgm333

Ads for things like respirators are capitalizing on fears during the pandemic. Disguised to look like news articles that are part of your feed - this is dishonest - I understand the need to be ad-supported but make then easier to identify.

Annoying ads appeared in apps last version.

Remove the ad.

Surprise fees

AKT Martin

Out of the blue Feedly wants to charge me $8/mo for a simple service. I don’t mind supporting tech but this feels like extortion. So much for product loyalty.
