Completely awesome, but....

Now I can't use it because I can't justify paying $20 for an app every year that I've already paid for. I wasn't required to purchase a license when I originally bought it. At least, I wasn't aware that the money I was paying was only for temporary use if it was. I don't remember what I originally paid for this app, but I thought I was purchasing the app, not renting it. So, unfortunately, I'll have to make do with a color mixing app designed for painters rather than one for polymer clay artists. Too bad. I really liked it. Hannah

Great app for polymer clay enthusiasts!

For anyone with an interest in polymer clay, this is a wonderful app! I have found it very useful for creating new color schemes and matching colors in photos and objects. Also, if you find a color that is close to one you like, it will give you a good starting point to figure out what mixes together to formulate certain colors. The Premo clay recipes that are generated seem to, quite often, use the Cobalt Blues and Cadmium Yellows that have to be ordered online as they are not available in stores to my knowledge. This may be a hurdle for some. Maybe there could be a conversion chart in the help section on how to mix a substitute for the 2 online only colors. As I do not typically use Fimo I have not looked into those recipes too much. Overall, I find that this is a very useful and enjoyable app that has a very reasonable subscription price for continued use. The trial period is nice and long so you can get in there and really play with it to learn what it can do. The online info about the app has lots of helpful videos that will show you more on how to use the various options. All in all, I would highly recommend the app and with the long trial period you can try it out and learn about it before you decide to subscribe. To me, this speaks to how confident the app creator is in their product. A possible “upgrade” I would love to see is the ability to download the palettes I have created but that may be going against the subscription aspect of the app. Again, overall, I definitely like and recommend the app. Try it out!
