Fine with BBC but appalled by the advertisement formats. I see blinking, flashing casino ads which make me feel sick even when on the periphery of the screen. It was an option to close the ads until the latest update. I get that ads are a reality of the modern world but the spinning and flashing is excessive. I will be deleting the app and getting general news elsewhere.

The country where I live is not allowed to access video clips on this app.

I installed this app because I wanted to keep up with the news from various outlets across the world, but BBC has continuously posted anti LGBT+ propaganda so it’s time to uninstall. Do better.

I use this app daily, but it’s started crashing every time I open a new article, or even just whenever I’m scrolling down the news feed.

What used to be a relatively neutral news source that published well researched articles has become blatantly filled with hate-filled opinion pieces under the guise of news. If you’re queer or an ally then an app like this has become a blatant cesspool of hate that should be avoided.

BBC News could be a great news app, they mostly have good content. Although it constantly crashes and it is quite annoying. It seems to be the delay it takes for them to place the ads. Completely quitting never helps, and it crashes every few articles. While the news is somewhat balanced towards the left, the developers seem low par. You'd think they'd eventually fix the app, but it's been crashing constantly for far too long. All the other news apps run fine. If you want frustration free solid news, there are many other better choices for reliable news.
