Poor session storing
Bizzy221234674157

When using the app it is frustrating that when I go to do something like check email for a moment the app goes back to beginning. By this I mean that it doesn’t retain where I am in the app even for a short time. I may have scrolled 3/4 down the page but am returned to the top and have to go find the articles that I was reviewing again. Otherwise the app is easy to use.

Needs better navigation

I wish it was easier to navigate to different sections as you can on the BBC news website; doesn't seem like a big ask but it's difficult to browse

Lies and more

Forces US news on apps from US Apple store. Does not allow the “real” (UK) BBC news on this US app. UK government’s propaganda machine. Fake or biased news about Scotland (independence), EU (Brexit), Argentina (Falkland) for the reasons in brackets. The list of target countries goes on.

Bias and uneven-handed coverage
DAS-concerned global citizen

The BBC app was my main news source for a number of years. I felt like it provided broad and impartial coverage on a diverse range of topics. It was a good starting point to get an idea of the different events and issues unfolding around the globe. Unfortunately, BBC’s recent biased and uneven-handed coverage of Israel-Palestine (in favor of Israel) has opened my eyes to the fact that this news organization is driven and influenced by their own political leanings. Something as simple as using different language to describe the unacceptable loss of lives on both sides - Israeli are described as being killed while Palestinians as having died. And this is just a small example of an unnecessary yet deliberate choice of words that subtly influences opinion to value one human life over another. I can’t in good conscience rely on the BBC as a news source and risk learning about issues/events through a colored or politically motivated lens. I believe in the equality and justice for all peoples.

THE WORST NEWS APP!
sj-2020

This is by far the worst news app available. There is absolutely no control over notification sections. You have NO choice over what is important to you, bbc makes that choice for you!! This app is an enemy of the freedom and our liberties.

Biased on Palestine
Backpacktraveling

Bombarded with news on Hong Kong and Xinjiang but 0 news from the voices of Palestinian people. How come they say “tenants” and “evictions” when we know those homes were built by the UN and the Jordanian government and promised to the families that were kicked out of their homes.

WARNING !!!
