Great app for sitting in your pjs- reminds me of old #irc chat rooms a little but I like how it filters out the crazies. There are tons of apps to go cruise or look at shirtless guys this app- does something very different. It's nice to have that option for a change. And I like all the rooms which let me know which new games are worth playing. :) Oh I only gave it a 4 because I can't figure out an easy way to share post that other people post or to find out what the URL of their embedded videos are.

Support? App not working!

Guys I signed up and added my profile but I can't get connected to the app for days. First it says "connecting" forever and never loads, so I deleted and reinstalled the app, now I just get a white screen that does nothing. So I tried going to the website for support but that doesn't work either? What's going on???

This is a great app and the tone is exactly rigt for the community. But i feel that the chats can be quite big. I hope there is a topic search one day so you can find even more like minded people.

I really like interacting with other guys online in a way that isnt so overtly sexual. It's refreshing to have a conversation where you arent immediately asked questions like "looking" "what are you into" or "Top?"

Flirtive - the Grindr for people with faces and personalities!

How many times have you thought that Grindr just wasn't for you? Random photos of some strangers junk being sent to you, someone being unable to complete full sentences, or thinking that there could be more. Well, if any (or all) of these have happened or come across your mind, I suggest you try Flirtive. It's a great app of just chatting and building a community of nice people. No one is pressuring you into sex, no one is calling you out for not showing more than your face, and no one is making you feel like saying hello is a bad thing. Instead, you have a group of people talking about completely nerdy things. Or random things. Or whatever happens to pop in their head. It's great! I highly suggest checking this app out. It's totally worth it. :)

Such an improvement over Grindr. A great ways to make connections, find people of similar interests, and have REAL conversations! I will say it's geared more towards geeks and nerds, so it won't be everyone's thing.

The app I've been waiting for all along. The community is about conversation and friendship. Sure, hookups are cool, but in the short time I've been using Flirtive, I've had much better conversations than on Grindr or Scruff. The developer is active, present, and responsive. I'm looking forward to seeing how Flirtive evolves. Great concept and nice people!

It didn't take me long to decide if I wanted to go pro although I haven't been having a lot of time to be more engaging.. But the idea, the design and the people I met on Flirtive have made it a truly special app.

I downloaded the app because I heard it was a great place to meet other geeky/nerdy guys like my self. I read all the rules and filled out my entire profile but no matter what my profile doesn't get approved. I can still look at other guys profiles and I've found people who have hardly anything on their profile yet they were approved. Like I said in the title of this review I think the idea for the app is amazing but the execution of the app is horrible. This app need some kind of redesign so that the app will become more popular in time.

Amazing what can be accomplished when no shirtless selfies rules are imposed :) the guys in here are genuinely interested in conversations, everyone's extremely nice, and interface is pretty intuitive.
