Assault Commander: Ultimate and Armament 2028 were the two best turn-based, hex board strategy games available, in my opinion. The AI update has turned them into frustrating to play and extremely difficult to win, even in the easy mode too many times. I do expect to lose games some times, but in my opinion this is ridiculous. I'm housebound and play these games a lot. The AI has gone from being a little heavy handed in favor of the AI to being blatantly pro AI. Some of the quirkier things I have noticed since the AI update are: - Even if you meet the stated winning condition of eliminating all AI units, occasionally the AI chugs along how ever long it takes for it to gain enough resources to create a new unit. This continues until you capture the headquarters. - AI armored cars can shoot at and reduce the strength of vessels in the water. Human-controlled ones can't. - Occasionally blue units refuse to be eliminated until one more turn goes by no matter how many units you have attack the blue unit. The strength bar decreases to almost nothing, but the unit isn't eliminated even if attacked a few more times. There are other things which aren't 'right', but I've typed enough. If you reset the AI back to the way it was, I'll be back to 5 stars. New game planned?

Great game but nothing is more frustrating than having it crash after getting very close to ending a mission. They take a long time to complete. This happened in an older version and happened with the new one. They really should not sell it in this condition. Very frustrating.

Awesome turn-based strategy game that I have enjoyed playing over and over again.
