Such a shame!

Apply Geek has been my go-to news aggregate for years. First app is open when I would wake and last when going to sleep. I subscribed to the ad free version happily. They used to update fairly often but now, they haven’t pushed out an update in at least a year. This become more of a problem when I moved to the IPhone X and was still using the app letterboxed. I thought give them some time. Other developers took some time too. Here we are in 2018 over two months since the X has been out and still nothing. I begrudgingly am started to tell myself it’s time to move on.

I like it. I wouldn't mind if the articles were updated more often. It does seem heavy in the gamer side. And, you need to watch those sources with a lot of spelling and grammar errors -- it changes people's perception of your accuracy. Still, I like the overall concept and am pleased with the app.
Good when not political

Quick way to get tech news but the political articles unnecessary . I'll go to another app for politics. Please remove what we are not here to read.

App seems to always work right, gives targeted but expansive unbiased views, very timely and interesting, unobtrusive ads! Was great till they started to go left wing politics- come on people, this is supposed to be a tech app!
It's a Shame b/c I Really Used to Enjoy This App

I used to use this app on a daily basis for catching up on tech news. Fast forward a year or two, and I have found that not only has the quality gone down (big time) in terms of the content providers availble, but I no longer have the option to open a piece of news in an external browser / am forced to use the very mediocre in-app browser when I click on "Read on Web". With Apple themselves offering a far superior experience in their own News app (due in large part to superior content providers, few ads, and the ability to open stuff in Safari if I prefer), I can't really see myself keeping this Appy Geek on my phone despite having ample storage space. The only reason I am giving it two stars (instead of one) is because I know the devs have worked hard on the app and work to continuously update the app (which I think they still deserve credit for even if I do not like those updates / no longer enjoy their app).

This app was way better now all the are doing is putting up political protest crap. I use it to learn about tech not what tech politicians
Technology or political ideology site ?

I bring up tech news apps when I want a break from everything else in life, including politics. I want to know about the technology in the pipeline that could affect my life in a positive way. This site is ideology driven and too opinionated. I could care less about their political leanings, yet lately that's all I seem to get. I'm done letting this app take up space in my phone.
