Not a Fan of the New Appearance Settings – Amazon Alexa Review

In theory, having apps honor users’ Settings for Light and Dark Mode is a good idea, but in reality, it’s not necessarily the best user experience... Apps that were designed as predominantly dark apps from their inception seem overwhelmingly bright (Fantastical comes to mind). That’s also the case here with the latest update to the Alexa app... The best approach I have seen is to provide options to honor iOS Settings AND provide options for Light or Dark all the time. Evernote, Instapaper, and Reeder all do this (as does Fantastical)... Please consider updating the theme options to follow suit.
