Ads Don’t Honor Sound Settings – 2048 Review

I understand the need for ads in free apps, but if my phone is silenced, it’s often for a reason. And if an ad pops up at full volume despite my phone being silenced, it’s a problem. This is becoming more and more of a problem with ads, so a few months ago I made it my personal policy to immediately delete any app that behaves this way, give it a one star rating and add this explanation. Each time I’ve ended up with a similar app that I liked better, so it’s actually working out that this poor ad behavior is benefiting the competition by getting me to try new options.
