Stole my money and refuse to issue refund – 500 Stories: Reels Story Maker Review

BUYER BEWARE! I accepted a trial version of this app and almost immediately, I realized it wasn’t what I was looking for at the time, and I cancelled my free trial. Fast forward 7 days, I am quite upset when I discovered I had been billed for this app.... and not just for a monthly subscription, but for an entire year!!! That’s 29.99!! Within minutes I was on the phone with a Apple where I spoke to a customer service representative and explained that this was an unauthorized charge and I wanted my money back. Despite every effort, the Apple rep was unable to reverse the charge. He even escalated the call to his direct supervisor who was also unable to refund the money. The supervisor was very apologetic and explained that her inability to issue me a refund, was Not bc she didn’t agree with me that I had, in fact, canceled the trial version.... she could see where I had. But bc the app developer stated i didn’t qualify for a refund. An unauthorized charge and I didn’t qualify???? It makes zero sense. They want to play that way? Ok. That’s fine. I’m going to contact my bank and have the funds reversed thru the fraud department. BUYER BEWARE!!! This app is a rip off! And shame on the app developer!!!!
