Has a lot of potential – Prime Peaks Review

The graphics, physics, track layout, and car selection are totally on point and a huge step up from Hillclimb Racing. Great work! The game is fun overall but lacks certain elements. There is no bonus (i.e. points multiplier or boost) for doing stunts like wheelies, flips, or huge jumps and therefore no incentive to go wild and take risks for additional fun and reward. Some of the funniest and most fun moments are unexpected crashes and the random ways my driver gets ejected and goes flying through the air. I’d like to see more of that sort of unexpected randomness. On a different note, the checkpoints should just be removed since they don’t work anyway and aren’t really needed for pro drivers or converted to bonus gates (like $10k coin bonus) for anyone that reaches one. Speaking of pro driving, don’t just press on the gas pedal the whole time. Use momentum/inertia wisely and your tank will last longer. Feather the gas pedal (tap finger) when going up steep hills and your car won’t roll back as much. Step on it hard only when you already have momentum. Lastly, not every car benefits from full “grip” upgrade. Cars with short wheelbase perform better with it toned down.
