Facebook forcing trash UX for opening their app – Instagram Review

This should not be allowed!! How does one app know that I have another app installed and link to the app?!! Latest update forces a permanent notification if you have Facebook installed on your device. I see a red alert on Instagram because Facebook thinks I have updates and should open their app... such a sad waste of developer resources. Not wonderful.
