Facebook messenger doesn’t even want to load up after latest update – Messenger Review

The latest update on Facebook messenger has made it where I open the app and it’s a blank screen basically on the app. It use to load very fast. This last update claimed to “fix bugs and issues”. Actually made the messenger app basically useless on my iPhone 8. I was hoping it would fix things. However the app takes at least several minutes to even open up properly. Facebook needs to fix this!
