How can a player stay engaged in the game with so few choices? – Tropic Paradise Town Build Sim Review

I finally unlock all the islands. The last one, Barren Beaches, has NOTHING to build on the sand until level 77. I am on level 63. This is extremely disappointing as it takes a long time to level up. What is the point of having 9 distinct islands with little variation of commercial, housing, and decorations? I have tried to make each island unique but the choices for buildings for each type of terrain are out of balance. There are many choices for beaches but only 2 islands have beaches. Island Barren Beaches has lots of sand but none of the buildings designated for beaches can be built on this island. If you like building games, don't play this one.
