Make this game great!! – Horizon Chase Review

First of all, AWESOME GAME!! As a avid “Rad Racer” NES player, I have to say you guys nailed it....with a few caveats. I won’t be mean I promise.... 1) Car physics: Why is it that I hit a car from behind and it gives that car a boost?? Really??! I mean it’s like they hit their nitro or something. And the recovery time after hitting the back of a car is ridiculous. I’ve noticed that I recover faster after hitting a sign...HOW??!! Spin out and then I’m gone...? Why don’t cars that I hit have a negative outcome instead of a “thanks sucker” moment?? I see other cpu cars hitting each other and they don’t propel them down the track like a rocket...it’s regular bumps. But let me do it...??‍♂️ Please fix this. 2) CPU cars are too fast: I get that it’s a arcade game...but wth guys??!! When I get further in the game and get better cars with upgrades....but I’m on the second set of races and it’s like I’m racing Mario Andretti clones!! I have 2 upgrades so far...I literally have to get lucky to win!! Not because of my driving or any car I pick. From the start of the race everybody pulls away from you and it’s a frustrating fight just to catch up to 6th place. Hit a car...might as well hit retry. Instead of progressing in the game, I’m racing the same track over and over and over...not fun. CPU racers should get faster progressively with MY progression as I move to new cities. 3) UPGRADES/MODS/A STORE: How does this game not have a store to buy cars, upgrades, mods, better tires,etc..?? What are we racking up all those blue coins for?? Where’s my leverage over the computer?? Yes I know we have the challenge area to get the car upgrade and/or a new car. But you know that’s not enough...I don’t need new cars more than I need my current car to be better. That bonus also only lets get one upgrade. I should be able to get all three per city. So first city I get all 3 per 3 place or better races at level 1. Then the next city level 2...and so on. Or just give us a store. And we need more nitro!! More more more!! ??????? Now things I LOVE... The music is amazing!! Love it!! The tracks and atmospheres are done very well, love the colors. I love that this game supports using a controller. ???? The little trash talk sayings while I’m driving are a nice touch. Only thing better is if it was an actual voice. Lol!! I know this is an arcade game and not a true racing simulator, I just want to make that clear. I know it’s just $3. But it’s a defendant of Rad Racer...and OutRun....so shouldn’t this game be just a great?? Thanks for listening, keep up the great work!! Ken
