Idiotic migration – Google Family Link Review

I would expect more from a company like Google. My kids already have google accounts with email addresses they use for school, on their chrome books, and devices. It’s completely MORONIC that, to continue using parental controls, that I have to create them NEW google accounts and force them to change email addresses. What kind of fool at Google thought that was a good idea? I work for SAP - and I can tell you this... if I tried to pitch a migration plan that called for customer to have to create all new accounts in order to “upgrade” some service, I’d be laughed out of the presentation, and my team would be told to go back to the drawing board and figure out an actual good migration plan. I have no idea of this FamilyLink service is any good - maybe it is, but because the people running it at Google are clearly not the brightest lights in the Googleplex, I apparently will never know because I don’t have any intention of dealing with making new accounts for my kids, it’s way too much trouble. I’ll just parent the old fashioned way and teach my kids not to do stupid stuff online.
