I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! – Worm.is: The Game Review

So why the 1 star you ask? I will explain. First let me say this game is addicting and I would gladly pay 2.99 to have an ad free game without lag. But from previous reviews, I am not sure that I would get what is promised. Okay, here is why I gave 3 star rating and then changed to a 1 star rating because I can't stand game makers with no integrity. 1. The ads. I get having ads and I can totally be okay with it in other games. But when I am playing a team game and I die, it is irritating to have to watch a 30 second ad before I can respawn and rejoin the game. Why can't the ads be placed in between games? They still get the money from the ads. 2. Lag time. Often my worm will die because of the lag time. The game itself admits that the lag time is due to the high graphic ads that I again have to endure before I can go back into the game after dying from lag time! Ugh. Their suggestion? Buy the subscription. 3. Foul language and chat. In spit of the game's claim that foul language in the chat has consequences, there are none, and let me tell you, people, the chat is as foul as it gets. You can turn the chat off, but you stall have to endure looking at the foul names people give their worms. Can't turn it off. Can't unsee it. Young children, beware. My conclusion, a great game that deserves only 3 and maybe just 2 stars for the reasons I listed. So why have so many people given it 5 stars? Because the game makers promise 500 coins if you give it a 5 star rating. Truly, that is the only way they will get 5 stars consistently. You tell me if they will honor their claims if I pay 2.99 for no ads?
