YouTV VCR subscriptions like the well known "PRO" subscription with longterm-archive and 7 day TV library access, are available also through iTunes in App purchase. Buy your desired VCR subscription secure and easy with your iTunes account. Some information about the purchases:
• The length of every subscription (time period) is one month and each subscription will be auto-renewed till it will be cancelled.
• The payment is charged to your personal iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal every month. The amount depends on the selected product:
– 5,99€ each month for BASIC
– 9,99€ each month for PRO
– 14,99€ each month for FAMILY

Is not working as advertised in the past

This was an nice way to see German TV seven days back but after I signed up the change the terms and it's not all German tv only max 12 TV channels and not even that works sometimes. I'm stuck in the contract for 4 more months.

Since BongTV switched to YTV watching German TV became a hassle. I am probably not going to renew my subscription because it is just too complicated. The App is not easy to handle and if you thought you recorded a show it never ever plays back in in the highest quality.

Great app. Easy to use. Great opportunity to watch tv in another language and become more fluent in it. I use this app to expose my children to more German. The cartoon selection is second to none.
