XP1728

Some of you may remember a puzzle game named Intelligent Qube (Kurushi Final in Europe) on the first PlayStation. You were playing a character trapped on a grid and you had to destroy waves of moving cubes to avoid being crushed to death... XP1728 is directly inspired by that game and actually draws all its gameplay mechanics from it.

Your goal is to survive by destroying every cube, except black ones. Every time you destroy a black cube, the grid loses one row, leaving you less room to complete the level. In addition, special cubes (orange, green, and blue) allow you to make combos, but be careful...you may tend to get overexcited and forget some black cubes :)

That game was originally designed for puzzle game specialists seeking for challenge. If you think you have some skills, go straight to the campaign mode and try to get the highest possible score. A leaderboard is here to make you shine, but don't forget to log in. However, if you are a casual gamer, don't worry ! An interactive tutorial is here to introduce the basic rules and show you all kind of tricks to win and improve your score.

With more than 120 waves, XP1728 will certainly bring you some challenge. And if you think this is too easy, or you don't know how to improve your scores, you can still get new avatars and improvements from the vault !

Note: This application will not work on the iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3rd generation or earlier, nor the iPad 1st generation.

I loved playing intelligence qube and this app is a perfect mobile version of it! The graphics are great and the gameplay is very smooth. Definitely worth the buck.

Game is great i missed playing IQ for years but the controls are a little off. Pushing up you think would make character go straight but it goes to right just a bit

The game itself is great but...

I've had issues with the app closing on me or not allowing me to continue with the game when I press the 'campaign' button to start. It would also be nice to allow the player to customize the controllers and have the arrows be on the left side. Aside from that, I DO enjoy the graphics and the options to control them. You guys did SUCH a great job bringing back Intelligent Qube! Just please make some changes! Thanks!

Good app. Love I.Q.!!

I was so happy to find a mobile version of Intelligent Qube, but the controls are bad. Don't know if things are different in other countries, but the d-pad should be on the left-hand side! I don't understand why the creator made it this way. (Please make changes!!!) Otherwise, a great game!

I wish I could review this...

I would love to share my views on the game, as I loved Intelligent Qube on PS1 and PS3...but the game keeps crashing before I could even get started. I went to the App support, and you cannot even post to the technical problem area in the forums! In fact, there are no posts whatsoever in the forums for this game... Fix this, and I can write a proper review, complete with more stars. I so wanted to play and love this game...

Almost There...

This is a decent implementation of the classic PS1 INTELLIGENT CUBE. What it needs to make it perfect is larger controls. The tiny buttons are unnecessary when the entire sides of the screen are available for much larger, easier to hit controls. Other than that, great fun!

Epic fail!
