Workflow is your personal automation tool, enabling you to drag and drop any combination of actions to create powerful workflows for your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Workflow includes over 200 actions, including those for Contacts, Calendar, Maps, Music, Photos, Camera, Reminders, Safari, AirDrop, Twitter, Facebook, Dropbox, Evernote, and iCloud Documents, to name a few.
For example, you can use Workflow to:
* Make animated GIFs
* Add a home screen icon that calls a loved one
* Make PDFs from Safari or any app with a share sheet
* Get directions to the nearest coffee shop in one tap
* Tweet the song you're listening to
* Get all of the images on a web page
* Send a message including the last screenshot you took
* And so much more...
Your workflow creations can be launched from inside the Workflow app or from other apps using Workflow's Action Extension. You can even export a workflow as a standalone app on your home screen.
Workflow opens up infinite possibilities of what you can do with your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. But this is just the beginning. Stay tuned.
Given the protections/limitations of iOS, Workflow really provides as much flexibility and functionality as it can, in an easy-to-us package.
Anyone who does repetitive actions on their iDevice or has something they do all of the time, this is a great app. The interactions with other apps are fantastic. This is one of those apps that is worth twice or three times the price you are paying and the developer keeps making it better!! This version is much smoother than previous. They do a great job! I only wish this app ran on OS X!!
Great app and amazing update
This app was 5 stars on day one. Now with the updates, it's beyond that.
Since the update, running workflows is causing the app to crash. These workflows were working perfectly before the app was updated. Always good to know that downward compatibility with customer workflows isn't relevant to the company.
This is simply put, the most useful app someone can use on their iPhone in my opinion. I highly recommend it.
This app has a lot of potential and I've made 2-3 Workflows that are very useful to me. However, it can be a frustrating process and I do not share workflows with inexperienced friends and family because of the app's lack of usability. The app needs: - Better tutorials, help, and/or examples - A 'player'... in other words, a way to play a workflow without having to go into bowels of the app - Copy and paste - A way to share workflows privately with friends and family - Access to more iOS function Obviously, the last bullet is something Apple has to provide, but the lack limits the app's potential nonetheless. --
Scripts are too complicated to write in your own. Doesn't exactly deliver as advertised.
