View your deployments on the go with the Wolfram Cloud mobile app. Whatever your target, the Wolfram Cloud lets you deploy your code or content at production scale in an unprecedentedly powerful and simple way, and now you can view and interact with your deployments on mobile.

Building on more than 25 years of technology development, the Wolfram Cloud brings the revolutionary capabilities of the Wolfram Language to bear on creating and deploying production software systems and applications. With its philosophy of building in vast algorithmic and knowledge resources, and its commitment to maximum automation, the Wolfram Language dramatically changes the economics and possibilities of programming.

We’ve made the Wolfram Language available in Desktop and Cloud, so that you can write, test, and deploy your code directly in the cloud, and now you can access it on mobile too.

By leveraging the Wolfram technology stack, the Wolfram Cloud makes it possible for you to develop and deploy a useful application in minutes—and build a major production system in days or weeks.

Please make it more usable

I am appreciated that wolfram have issued this for the user who mainly use iPad. But there are many issues needed to be solved: Such as how to manipulate the plotting results and animate(it can be done well in desktop browser, but this app can support it) and use the sensor and video camera in iPad to use some functions such as CurrentImage[]. Please update more often!

it works fine
crucialrhyme

the app works fine. it's not 100% of the desktop version, but it works okay. the documentation is all accessible. contrary to many other reviews, copy-and-paste and manipulation of cells works. with the new ARM macs coming out, maybe we will finally get Mathematica that runs locally on the iPad as a side effect of supporting those. but until then, this is not a bad option.

Broken derelict garbage

Devs have clearly given up here.

This app has so much potential, but it is pathetically buggy. It worked for a few minutes, then suddenly I’m unable to type, and now I’m unable to log in. Tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the app. Using mobile Safari to access Wolfram Cloud functions better. I have confidence it Wolfram to make this app. And I will re-review when it does

Far below the quality of Wolfram is known for

Use the web version that is more efficient and user-friendly.

Needs Basic Copy and Paste

This would be a much better piece of software if I could copy and paste a portion of text. Normal iOS copy-paste functionality (holding down to start the copy process) and paste (tapping where to start the paste process) is missing. I don’t always have access to a hardware keyboard.

So much power, so disappointed

The Wolfram Language is unmatched in functionality built-in. If one is using it on a regular computer it works really well. Unfortunately, on iPad Pro's with Apple's SmartCover keyboard this app just won't allow you to copy and past. You can't even highlight text or place the select text cursor by hard or double pressing on the screen. More testing is needed for this platform.

Please make this app usable

I would love to be able to use Mathematica on my iPad but this app is so buggy it’s impossible for everything but the simplest use cases. 1) needs copy/paste functionality 2) need to map .nb files to the app so when I download an .nb file from the web (or try to open from the files app) I have the option to open in this app (currently I can only open in wolfram player) without this I have to use my laptop to upload the file to my wolfram cloud account to be able to access from my iPad 3) manipulate 3D objects 4) app is painfully slow and unresponsive with more than a few cells. And I’m running it on a 2018 iPad Pro so I shouldn’t have any problems 5) better keyboard support. Currently no support beyond simple typing. Needs to add shortcuts (cmd-c, cmd-v, or ctrl-= for wolfram|alpha input) This app has so much potential! Please make it usable!

Don’t bother

Been using Mathematica more more than 15 years and this is a joke.

slow and hardly usable

Updated review: Little has changed since the release of this app, the devs should focus on improving the interface and speed of this app. Furthermore the evaluation of cells should be done on the device instead of the cloud as most of the newer phones and ipads have decent specs and would handle most workflows. Cloud execution only makes sense for enterprise users where personal computing resources are lacking, sadly this app neither provides “superfast cloud execution” nor does it make use of the phone/tablet’s local computing power. Sure sharing notebooks between devices is great but that’s as far as “cloud” should go. Old review: This app is hopelessly unresponsive and sluggish (even scrolling is slow). Another issue is the interface, Mathematica notebooks do not fit well to the screen size and zooming in is a pain. I consider this a broken app, with low quality standards (I bet it isn’t native) which is unfortunate being that their desktop app works so well and is delightful to use.
