Good, but needs work

I love the concept of the game. Graphics are acceptable, and crashing is minimal. I feel the upgrade menu is too difficult (meaning it takes too long to accumulate valor points to upgrade your ship/plane). Give us more options and accessible upgrades or power ups and I could see me getting really addicted. More variety needed? I've only gotten to Day 15, but after a while the difficulty ramps up too hard too quickly, and seeing similar island after island becomes demoralizing. I'm definitely excited to see if future updates makes this game a 5 star arcade knockout. (iOS version of older title Wings of Fury)

This was one of my favorite games on my Apple IIc. I liked playing this game with a joystick better than the touchscreen but I'm getting used to it. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the games in the old days. Now if I could just find Black Magic....

It stays mostly faithful to the classic while adding a bit more gameplay. Well worth the $ and the time. Brings back memories.

This game is really fun and addicting. Just a few notes: it doesn't seem to be designed for the retina display, since the plane and crosshairs are strangely pixelated. Also, the upgraded parts don't seem to add anything to the game- it should show the damage difference between the different bullets, the speed difference between the different engines, etc. All in all, still worth the money and will be fantastic if the developer makes a few small tweaks!

The game and the graphics are great, but the problem is that some things just require a joystick or D-pad of some kind. A joystick that could plug into the sync port would be awesome! Come on Apple, jump on this and make the iPad a real good gaming platform. Wings of Fury from my Apple IIe days was the best game. I keep an Apple Iic around just to play it, but a joystick of some kind would make this iOS version even better.
