Really Interesting and Useful App

Once you download this app if you are like me you will be checking it often. You add a favorite location by entering an address (including country) and Windsock shows you the exact location world-wide using Google Maps, including elevation and complete lat/long. This also makes it a great lat/long finder for setting up astronomy and other apps that somehow expect you to know that off the top of your head. A lot goes into programming an app like this and at the same time making it it easy to use and fast - it is a technical masterwork. Highly recommend.

I can check the wind speeds and forecasts at different airfields near me to decide if and where I want to take my planes out. What a great app!!

This is a good app but it is not worth a $3 a month subscription. It needs to be a one time buy. All of its data is already free on other weather apps.

As an RC pilot, this has been my favorite and most-used wind speed app for years. I'm not thrilled with the $3 per month subscription model introduced with the latest update, but I'm encouraged that the developer was quick to address a bug I encountered. I'm subscribing for the time being. It really is a great app, and it helps me identify optimal days to visit the flying field.

I paid like $10 for this app a while back and now all of a sudden, they went subscription and I basically threw away $10. They should be banned from App Store for this crap. I would expect to at least be grandfathered into all the features I paid for. Enjoy horrible reviews from me for forever.
