There are times we wonder what is the song playing on TV, radio or anywhere you can think of. What The Song would come in handy in such situations, it listens several seconds of the song and provides you with a best match with song title, artist name and 30 seconds of preview.
Features:
◦ fast music recognition
◦ recognition history emailing
◦ share songs you like on Facebook
◦ 30 seconds of iTunes preview (if found)
◦ iTunes download link (or 90 seconds preview) (if found)
◦ easy to use & simplified user interface
Notes:
◦ Song previews are courtesy of iTunes.
◦ Music tagging is courtesy of Gracenote.
Love activating WTS! I get to capture songs that I love and can’t remember an artist or song name. Love this app!!!
I thought this app was better when it took you straight the iTunes Store to buy it or to Youtube. Now it has become a two step process. I’m thinking of looking for another app now.
I MEAN I PAYED FOR A 2 DOLLAR APP AND IT KEPT CHARGING ME I WANT A RUFUND IF I COULD RATE THIS 0 I WOULD PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS IT IS A SCAM DO NOT BUY IT!!
Excellent software. Identified all the songs other similar software couldn't find, including the ones not available on iTunes.
This app identifies the song about 10% of the time. Out of the three apps I’ve tried including What-The-Song, Sound Hound, and Shazam, Shazam is by far the best with a success rate of I would guess over 90% of the time.
My husband and I love sitting by the fire listening to the oldies and guessing who is singing and this app is awesome! So cool!
I am getting older now and my memory is not what it was so this app is such a great help to me! Now this old man has a play list of all my past and present favorite music!! All my thanks!!
Not a bad service , but somewhat limited for my use. I can get a little over half of what I hear from the college radio stations in the area (most usually provide playlists, but it can be spotty or intermittent on occasion), but not enough of stuff that’s on small labels or bandcamp. I realize this is an apple related ap, but it doesn’t cover as much as I might like.
