There seems to be no way to get actual important weather alerts without also getting bombarded several times a day with “top stories” nonsense like “woman bursts into tears upon seeing favorite animal for the first time.” I just want the weather. Fix it please.

Channel. Thanks so much.

When will they stop trying to get money from us?

First, it was $10 for no ads. Now, I'm paying them that$10/year. I felt it was worth it for not seeing ads. Now they want $30 per year. And even with my $10 they're bombarding me with ads. Boo and no thank you. I'm you've lost my business. I'm not sure what the $10 is even for anymore? I think they're just greedy.

It used to be good.

Now it’s always asking if I want to go premium, and it freezes my phone every time I try to look at radar.

All I Need

""DL@K"

Real time, future, global and accurate! Hurricane futures are life saving forecasts. Experiencing hurricanes often forecast and radar are needed for preparation, safety, communication of friends and family that are in the storms path also and that information, that knowledge, enforces mental support needed for survival through the storm. Knowing the path and weight of the storm enables our safety. Knowing your family is safe or their status strengthens our survival skills! Opens paths for escape and/ recovery! On a daily basis just the basics of knowing if we may get wet or a sunburn , maybe walk the dog serves our conveniences. I am not complacent but I am appreciative! Thank you TWC for your existence and your accuracy! “D”

Unreliable Temperatures and Storm Predictions & no Error Bars

WeatherMaben

There is no such thing ever as data that has perfect and ideal accuracy or precision (I used to teach physics and was admitted to Doctoral Candidacy by colleagues and students of Nobel Prize winners). Aside from the recent deterioration noticed in usefulness of local and linger range predictions and forecasts, I note that both medical data and weather data never have the spears of possibility or degree of reliability of their data present, attached or referenced. Also, wind directional data (vector arrows) are not ever provided. We pay thousands of dollars for access to the Internet and then are rudely and continually invited to pay more for additional features features and information? The old phrase “Highway Robbery” comes to mind, only now it is the Infirmation SuoerHighway on which bandits accost us and make demands without knowing anything about us. Modern Times? Sigh…… the more it changes, the more it remains the same.

Whether for casual recreation or business travel this app has become an invaluable addition. I use this app every day and on business travel days 2 to 3 times daily. I work all over the United States and on any given day can be in two or three cities. Knowing the weather I will encounter helps so much in preparation. The extended forecast are a tremendous help in planning out a travel week.

Weather alerts/notifications

The Weather Channel App is amazing, keeps my notified of weather alerts. For example: 100% precipitation of rain in Montgomery County within 2 hours.
