This used to be my favorite map app, but now it’s mostly useless. For the last couple weeks, about half the time when I put in an address, it never realizes that we’ve started driving. I get 5 miles down the road and it still doesn’t know. Useless! Also, now that I have been forced to use something else, a nice feature to add would be to tell us what lane to get in if there’s a split or exit coming up soon. Hope you get this fixed! Thanks
Bad routing these days

I am a Waze user of many many years. Blindly believed in it. Recently was on a car with my friend and noticed how different the routing is and how Google maps saves time and tolls. Thought it might be an anomaly but started to double check every time and found Waze is doing a crappy job on routing - it’s core function. Might still use it for User data but not routing. Bye bye buddy
Bluetooth to hearing aids

I use Waze almost everyday as this is my traffic news that I can be aware with traffic. One con about this is Bluetooth - I have to turn off the Bluetooth that connects to my hearing aids which I don’t want to use. What’s best advice with this app without connecting?

I have been using Waze for years and was very happy with it. An amazing app for its crowd sourcing warnings and road conditions as well as real time traffic patterns. However in the last two years the app has become sluggish, buggy and therefore dangerous. It almost NEVER connects to the GPS when I open it and I have ti restart the app multiple times. Before I realized this was the norm I his was happening to me while I was driving. Often it updates too slowly and I’ll kiss turns or have gone a quarter of a mile before it reroutes and knows where I am ti give me the correct directions. Using it now has become a crap shoot and honestly I’m wondering if Google is just trying to scrap it completely and has therefore abandoned any updates. This GPS is going to cause an accident for a less experienced driver and at this point I’m just going to stop using it. The developers know these issues exist. The fact it has not been remedied in two years leads me to believe they just don’t care.

Is saying I’m not connected to a network but my google maps app works fine something is wrong it’s only working now if ur connected to wifi so deleting the app entirely
1 thing to make it better

Should add the ability to type a notification out when like a lane is closed. That way you know what lane to get into before a lane closure

This latest version 4.81 has broken the audible warning when you exceed the speed limit on CarPlay. I have contacted the developers numerous times and so far they have refused to fix it. Nor will they remove 4.81 and revert back to 4.8 on the App Store.
