WP app is broken
Adcapfire

App has been broken for weeks. When you tap on an article to open it, you are often directed to an older version of the story, or to a truncated version of the story. Repeated contact with WP tech staff has not worked.

WP app
Kaimukisam

I keep getting prompts to rate this app. Well here goes. There is no easy method to make comments on any article. This should be a feature that should be an added. I do like the feature where you can read the entire article without flipping through the pages. I prefer reading the paper on this app rather than the paper copy. Also having archived issues are great where often I can go back and read an article I might have missed.

One Glaring Problem
Conqueringhero

I have been a morning reader of the paper for decades, and transitioned to reading WAPO on my iPad almost a decade ago. The app has gotten better over time and the experience is very good, with one GLARING exception. As the post has integrated the app with their online sources there are times when there is a terrific interconnection, but increasingly clicking on an interesting headline in the app (often in news Digests) the content rolls over to a completely unrelated set of articles. After several attempts of clicking around I have to go back to the app and use my fingers to expand the type to a readable size to see the news that caught my eye. Often in this process a finger tap will start the roll to online again. So it can take several attempts to read what I wanted to read. That is just not right.

An interesting newspaper- the best
A custo

The Washington post is a superb newspaper and the app is greatly improved from when it first came out. I have no Criticisms.

Great journalism. Great site.
A Recovering Pol

From my driveway to my tablet, all the forms of the Post deliver. I especially like being able to see every complete page of the print paper online as well as the digital version providing real-time breaking news and extra content. Excellent reporting and columnists covering the entire political spectrum. Some will make you cheer and some will make you swear. If you think, you should read the Post.

Great for nostalgic former residents
Former DC academic

I also love the fact that Perfect Replication of the print edition is an option

Love the electronic version
palm neach

I read it online every day when out of DC. The format is great , just like the print version. Some e.g. the WSJ have a different harder to use format. Thanks ! Phil Odeen

Too much crap
Roger in Annapolis

You take up pages just saying what you said in a headline and ignore what’s happening outside DC and around the world

Nothing quite like it

The Post is the North Star of my daily following of the day’s news. Don’t know what I’d do without it. Especially enjoy the stable of commentators. They are all thoroughbreds!

Not REALLY compatible with iOS 9.3.5
Arfubola

The info about this app says it's compatible with iOS 9.3.5. The print part is, but you cannot follow links in articles. Those require iOS 10 or higher. If you try, you'll get nothing but a blank page. Too bad, but I can't afford to buy a new device (and resent Apple's strategy of planned obsolescence).
