Consistently disconnects from WiFi

This service is garbage. I got it for my iPhone and iPad and ever since I got it all it does is disconnect me from my WiFi. Now every time I open my phone or iPad I have to disconnect and reconnect to the internet. An absolute waste of money.

With vpn on my upload speed is 2.5 and download is 4.5. No vpn. Upload 12 and download 25. That is drastic. To pay for a vpn service i expect a little better than this.

It works well as a vpn to get past isp and your local network blocking sites. However, I would not recommend if you plan to have it on at all times, as your internet speed will suffer greatly. Normally my WiFi is 60mb/s, however, this vpn slows it to a god awful 4mb/s! It's fine if you just want to unblock one site once in a while for a minute, but it's unusable for browsing the internet, watching videos, and sending messages through Discord or other apps. Furthermore, this app has not been updated on the store for 2+ years now, so that's potentially why it's so slow. I'd chose a different service if I could get my money back.

This app has always been a little twitchy but here lately it barely works. This dang thing is expensive and I’m starting to feel like an idiot for giving it a second chance. What good is paying a small fortune (for me, anyway) for something that doesn’t work?

Terrible customer service VPN the website isn’t even secure so how can you trust it on your tablet if they can’t even work their website took me a half hour to get in contact with him and send an email then the customer support was being rude and I don’t understand how if you want to reactivate your account if you want to get this company money you have to go through all these hoops and wait two days just to get a VPN to protect you guys a dumb business strategy in this company does not deserve a business and then when you want to delete with the account it’s the same thing doesn’t help the customer support was being cocky shane what was already canceled so we don’t really wanna deal with it so you could just keep the account like your customer support if you were getting this VPN. Don’t stop using virtual shield why can’t them they do not deserve to be in business they will only stop your dumb business practices when the consumer stands up go to Nord VPN or surf shark because at least if you cancel your search shark description because would say I don’t know a virus comes along and you might not want to put money to a VPN right away right now because you have other issues to worry about than a VPN and then when you could finally go back to the VPN you can reactivate it or nord and not have to worry about waiting three days for the billing team to get in contact with you in jumping through all these hoops to set up your payment information again and to get through customer service honestly I think they should be reported to the government because think about it if their website is this buggy and Gucci can we really trust him like I don’t trust her own website for you to renew to just the subscription and the website glitched out multiple times sending me payments of a dollar to my bank which my bank canceled do you think they’re going to be safe to use the obvious answer is no don’t use them stay away

I just started the trial period of this service and installed it on my windows pc, apple iPad, and android phone. The iOS app is the one this review is about. When the vpn connects, the WiFi disconnects, and I am unable to access the internet until the vpn is deleted. My pc and android phone don’t have the same problem, but since I do most of my internet browsing and online banking on my iPad I probably need it to work on this device the most. But it doesn’t. At all.

I have problems opening web pages and sites because this is *always* “connecting”. Please fix this.
