Did not perform as advertised. Asked for a full refund which has not been issued for weeks. Still waiting to hear back.

Do not waste your money on this horrible attempt at a VPN. I made the mistake of purchasing a two year plan a while ago…so I’ve had experience with this VPN…and none of my experiences have been good. It does NOT stay connected…you will constantly be opening the app and switching locations just hoping that you find a server that works…”just use automatic!”…NOPE! Automatic won’t work either. Your speed is slowed down over 50% when it is “on”…but this VPN offers zero consistent protection. Customer service is laughable. I’ve contacted them at least 10 times and have only once received a response…and that response had no answer/solution in it. This company is nothing but snake oil salesmen selling you the illusion of privacy. Choose ANY OTHER VPN…even if the one you choose is crap…it’ll be better than virtual shield.

I downloaded and paid for a 2 year commitment before I saw the comments. Although I trust the program that advertised this deal inherently, but the fact that this has not had any updates in 4 years concerns me greatly. A lot of new viruses and always new hacking abilities. I will reevaluate after the 27 month commitment is up for renewal and if I’ve been satisfied, I’ll take another look at this app and decide whether to renew or change VPN servers.

I love the protection but I thought the billing was supposed to be monthly that’s what I paid for. I see that they tried to take the whole year off my credit card. I’m not understanding why?

A friend recommended this app and she loves it. We wanted to have protection on all our devices so we signed up for 24 months at Big discount (my first clue). When I went to the iPhone app the last update was 2Y ago. ( my second clue)! After contacting via email I was directed to just wipe out all my VPN memory. 3 strikes!! I am out!

I would say worst customer service if they actually had customer service. You never speak to a human, they only communicate by email and send you links to information that is easily found on their website. DOES NOT WORK ON iPhone!!!!! An email “support” advises me to Reset my network setting which will wipe out years worth of passwords that I need to do my job! When I tell them to stop my membership, they tell me I have a free 30 day trial and can continue to use the service for 28 more days...I can use a service that I cannot connect to for 28 days. Yes, they are that incompetent!!!!!
